BOB Wealth Executive & Credit Analyst Recruitment 2026: Quick Intro

Bank of Baroda has announced 1,100 Specialist Officer vacancies across its Wealth Management Services and Corporate & Institutional Credit departments. The recruitment includes 1,000 Wealth Executive posts in the JMG/S-I grade and 100 Credit Analyst posts in the MMG/S-II grade. The recruitment has been released under Advertisement No. BOB/HRM/REC/ADVT/2026/17. Online applications are open from 4 September to 24 September 2026, with eligibility conditions calculated as on 1 September 2026.

Bank of Baroda is one of India's leading public sector banks, with more than 8,400 branches and a workforce of over 75,000 employees. The current recruitment covers two different areas of banking operations. The Wealth Management Services team works with affluent customers and handles investment and insurance products. The Corporate & Institutional Credit team focuses on assessing and processing credit proposals for large corporate borrowers.

Vacancy Details

Out of the 1,100 total vacancies, 1,000 are for Wealth Executive and 100 are for Credit Analyst-C&IC. Both posts have category-wise reservations as per Government of India norms, along with separate horizontal reservation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).

Application Fee

category wise application fee structure is shown below:

The application fee is non-refundable and remains payable regardless of whether the online examination is conducted or the candidate qualifies for the subsequent stages of selection.

Age Limit

The age limit is calculated as on 1 September 2026 and varies between the two posts. Candidates applying for Wealth Executive must be 22 to 32 years old, while the age limit for Credit Analyst is 21 to 33 years.
The category-wise age relaxation details are given below:

There is no separate reservation for Ex-servicemen in these officer posts. Ex-servicemen are eligible only for the prescribed age relaxation and do not receive a separate vacancy quota like SC, ST, OBC and EWS candidates.

Educational Qualification

The two posts belong to different departments and have separate educational qualification and experience requirements. The eligibility criteria for each post are explained separately below:

*Since the eligibility cut-off date is 1 September 2026, candidates must have obtained the required certification and completed the two years of relevant experience by that date. Acquiring the certification or completing the required experience after 1 September 2026 does not meet the eligibility conditions.

Selection Process

The selection process may include application scrutiny, an online test, psychometric test, Group Discussion (GD) and one or more interview rounds, depending on the process prescribed by the bank for each post.

If an online test is conducted, its tentative pattern and structure are given below:

A 0.25-mark penalty is applied for each incorrect answer. No marks are deducted for unattempted questions.
The first three sections are qualifying in nature, so their marks are not counted in the merit list once the required minimum marks are secured. Professional Knowledge carries 50% of the total paper and plays the main role in the written assessment. For the Wealth Executive post, this includes areas such as wealth products, insurance, mutual funds and related banking concepts. For Credit Analyst, the focus is on credit appraisal and related professional knowledge.

At the interview stage, candidates must secure at least 60% marks for General and EWS categories and 55% for other reserved categories. Candidates who do not meet the required interview cut-off will not be considered for final selection, regardless of their performance in earlier stages. Bank of Baroda may also skip the online written test for either post and proceed directly to the psychometric assessment and interview. Therefore, the published online test pattern should be treated as tentative, as the bank has not made the written test mandatory for all candidates.

Salary, Job Location and Service Conditions

The Wealth Executive post is placed in the JMG/S-I scale, with a basic pay starting at Rs.48,480 and progressing up to Rs.85,920 through the prescribed increments. The Credit Analyst post falls under the MMG/S-II scale, with basic pay ranging from Rs.64,820 to Rs.93,960.
The complete pay structure is given below:

Note: The above figures represent basic pay only. The actual salary will also include Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA) and other applicable allowances under the industry-level bipartite settlement. Bank of Baroda has not specified the exact amount of these allowances in the notification, so the basic pay should not be treated as the final take-home salary.

Selected candidates may be posted to any branch or office of Bank of Baroda across India, as decided by the bank. Candidates applying for these posts must be willing to serve anywhere in the country.
Both posts have a 12-month probation period. A service bond also applies, requiring officers to serve for at least three years. If an officer leaves before completing the required period, they must pay an amount equal to three months' gross salary, subject to a maximum of Rs.2 lakh for Wealth Executive and Rs.3 lakh for Credit Analyst.

This recruitment offers a different employment structure from the contract-based wealth management recruitment conducted by Bank of Baroda earlier in 2026 under Advt. No. BOB/HRM/REC/ADVT/2026/08. The current posts are part of the regular officer cadre, with a defined probation period, service bond and applicable long-term service benefits.
