Accountant, Bridge Corporation (1 post): Candidates must have a B.Com with MBA (Finance), B.Com with PG Diploma in Business Administration (Finance), or M.Com. They must also have at least five years of post-qualification work experience in a Government, Semi-Government, Public Sector, or reputed private organization, along with three years of service in the immediate lower post or grade. This is the only post in this recruitment that requires prior work experience.

Assistant Accountant, common qualification track (Directorate of Departmental Accounts, district treasuries, Treasury Directorate, Prosecution Department, PTCUL and UJVNL, 277 posts combined): Graduation in Commerce from a recognised university, or BBA, or a Post Graduate Diploma in Accountancy, along with Hindi typing speed of 4,000 key depressions per hour (KDPH). This is the most common eligibility pattern in the recruitment and covers the highest number of vacancies.

Assistant Accountant, Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited (75 posts): Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) with Accountancy in Second Division from a recognized university. They must also possess a Certificate in Computer Operation and have a Hindi typing speed of 4,000 key depressions per hour (KDPH). Candidates should carefully check that they meet the Second Division requirement, along with the computer certificate and typing qualification, before applying.

Assistant Accountant, Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board (13 posts): Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) from a recognized university or a Post Graduate Diploma in Accountancy. They must also possess an O-Level Certificate/Diploma in Computer Operation from a recognized institution.

Assistant Accountant, Bridge Corporation, second post code (2 posts): B.Com along with a minimum of three years of experience in a relevant field. 

Office Assistant-III (Accounts), PTCUL (5 posts): Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) from a recognized university. They should have a good knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari script, a Hindi typing speed of 6,000 key depressions per hour (KDPH), an English typing speed of 7,000 key depressions per hour (KDPH), and a minimum one-year Diploma/Certificate in Computer Applications from a recognized institution. Candidates should ensure they meet the prescribed typing speed and computer qualification before applying.

Cashier cum Assistant Accountant, Uttarakhand Electricity Regulatory Commission (1 post): Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university or reputed institution. They should also have working knowledge of maintaining accounts, petty cash books, and general bookkeeping.

Note: Apart from the post-wise educational qualifications, candidates must also satisfy the general eligibility conditions. Since these are Group C posts under UKSSSC, applicants must meet at least one of the prescribed conditions, such as Employment Exchange registration in Uttarakhand, a Uttarakhand domicile/permanent residence certificate, or the required educational qualification from a recognized institution in Uttarakhand, as applicable.

Selection Process

Selection runs through a single written examination, followed by a qualifying typing test. The written exam pattern is shown below:

Note: The written examination will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs), with four options for each question. One mark will be awarded for every correct answer, while 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer. No marks will be deducted for unanswered questions. The examination is expected to be conducted in offline (OMR) mode, although UKSSSC may conduct it in online mode if required. The minimum qualifying marks are 45% for Unreserved (UR) and OBC candidates and 35% for SC and ST candidates.

There is no interview in this recruitment. After the written examination, eligible candidates will have to appear for the typing test, wherever applicable.
