■ Age Limit

The age limit varies depending on the post.

For Junior Engineer and Superintendent posts, maximum age is 34 years and for Administrative Assistant, maximum age is 27 years.
Who gets relaxation?
PwBD candidates and Ex-Servicemen gets age relaxation as per rules and for other categories, age relaxation as per rules is available only if vacancy is reserved for that particular category.

■ Application Fee

The application fee for this recruitment is divided post-wise

◆ For Group B posts: ₹300/-

◆ For Group C posts: ₹200/-
Note: SC/ST,PwBD and Female candidates are exempted from fee.
 You must pay separate fee for each post you apply. Once paid, the fee is non-refundable.

■ Salary Details

The salary for the above posts is based on the 7th Pay Commission scale. The posts of Junior Engineer and Nursing Superintendent are at Pay Level 6, while the post of Administrative Assistant is at Pay Level 4.
Apart from the above pay scale, the employees will also enjoy other perks like DA, HRA, etc., as per the Government of India norms. The employees will also enjoy other facilities like NPS, medical facilities for employees and their family, leave travel concession, and children education allowance, etc., as per the norms of the institute.

■ Probation Period

All selected candidates will be appointed on a probation period of one year, as per IIT Goa rules.

First, the applicants will be shortlisted based on eligibility, qualification, mark and experience. Shortlisted  candidates will be called for further stages:
