Post-wise Vacancy, Salary, Age Limit & Posting Details
Job Location and Posting Details
These jobs are for an All India Cadre. This means you can be posted anywhere in India depending on the needs of the university.
Major office locations include the headquarters in New Delhi and various campus sites, such as the Ekalavya Campus in Tripura, the Vedvyas Campus in Himachal Pradesh, the Shri Raghunath Kirti Campus in Uttarakhand, and the IKS-EDS Centre in Pune. There are also other university campuses located across the country.
You can choose your preferred locations when you apply. However, the university will make the final decision on where you work based on your test marks, where spots are open, and the university's needs.
Important Note 1: The 10-Year Work Rule
One of the most important rules in this recruitment is the 10-year work period. It is very important to understand this before you apply. Unlike some government jobs where you can transfer easily, this position expects you to work at your assigned campus for a long time.
The university created this rule to keep staff in the same place for many years. This helps the university run smoothly across all its campuses, especially in places that are far away or less popular.
Important Note: If you need a job that allows you to move to different cities, please think carefully about this rule before you submit your application.
Important Note 2: Deputation Details
Some of these positions may be filled through "deputation" following government and university rules. This is for people who are already working in government jobs, public sector units, or autonomous bodies.
If you are applying through this method, please keep the following in mind:
- Age Limit: You must be 56 years or younger for roles below Level-14, and 58 years or younger for Level-14 roles or higher.
- Application Process: You must apply through your current employer using the proper official channels.
- Required Documents: You must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) and a Vigilance Clearance Certificate.
- Duration: The initial period is for 3 years, which may be extended based on your work performance.
- Reassignment: The university has the right to send you back to your parent organization at any time if needed for administrative reasons or due to work performance.
