The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced Advertisement No. 12/2026 for the 33rd Bihar Judicial Services Competitive Examination 2026. Through this exam, BPSC will recruit 173 candidates for the post of Civil Judge (Junior Division).

The online application process will begin on 25 February 2026 and the last date to apply is 18 March 2026. All candidates must apply online and pay the application fee of ₹100. The fee is the same for all categories including General, OBC, EWS, SC, ST, Female, and PH/PWD candidates. Payment must be made through online mode.

To apply, candidates must be between 22 to 35 years of age as of 01 January 2026. Age relaxation will be given as per government rules. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) along with 3 years of professional experience.

The selection process includes four stages:

  • Preliminary Examination
  • Mains Examination
  • Interview

Document Verification and Medical Examination

Candidates who successfully clear all stages will be selected for the Civil Judge (Junior Division) position in Bihar.
