๐Ÿค” Before you decide whether to apply, here are a few practical things worth knowing about this recruitment:

๐Ÿ‘‰How Competitive Is This?

APSC CCE is one of the most competitive exams in Assam. Even with 78 vacancies, the applicant pool is large and includes serious civil services aspirants. Clearing prelims requires strong fundamentals in GS, and the real challenge begins in Mains where answer writing plays a critical role.

๐Ÿ‘‰Job Lifestyle

Roles like ACS and APS involve significant responsibility. You may be handling district administration, law and order, or departmental functions. Field exposure is high, especially in early years. Transfers and rural postings are part of the job, which requires adaptability.

๐Ÿ‘‰Before You Apply

This exam demands long-term consistency. It is not suitable for candidates looking for quick results or low-effort exams. If you are already preparing for UPSC or state PCS, this fits naturally. Otherwise, expect at least one to two years of structured preparation.
