Login using your Registration Number (usually starts with 2598).
Enter your Password or Date of Birth.

The board also releases a PDF containing the roll numbers of all shortlisted candidates.

Use Ctrl + F (on a computer) or the search icon (on mobile) to find your Roll Number.
If your number is there, congratulations! You have been shortlisted for the next stage.
🔻Understanding the Selection Process & Next Stages
Clearing Tier 1 is a huge milestone, but the journey doesn't end here. Depending on the post you applied for, the next steps will vary:
For PGT/TGT/PRT: Most candidates will now prepare for Tier 2 or an Interview, which often includes a Class Demo. This is where they test your actual teaching skills and personality.
For Non-Teaching (JSA/Steno): You will likely move to a Skill Test (Typing or Shorthand). These tests are usually qualifying in nature, but you must pass them to stay in the race.
For Leadership Roles: Candidates for Principal and Assistant Commissioner will proceed directly to the Interview stage.
Important Things to Remember
Cutoff Marks: The cutoff varies by category (UR, OBC, SC, ST, EWS). Check your qualifying status clearly on the scorecard.
Normalization: Since the exam happened in multiple shifts, marks have been adjusted (normalized) to ensure fairness.
Documents Ready: If you have qualified, start organizing your original degrees, CTET certificates, and caste certificates in the Central Government Format.
🔻The Ultimate Checklist:
Documents You Need for KVS/NVS Interview & DV
Think of this as your "Success Folder." Gather these documents in the exact order mentioned below.
1. Identity & Basic Details
Aadhar Card / PAN Card: Your primary ID. Ensure the name and Date of Birth (DOB) match your school certificates exactly.
10th Class Marksheet & Certificate: This is your official proof of DOB.
12th Class Marksheet & Certificate: Original copies are a must.
2. Educational Qualifications
Graduation Degree & Year-wise Marksheets: If you applied for TGT, this is crucial. Ensure you have the degree, not just the provisional certificate (though provisional works if the degree isn't issued yet).
Post-Graduation Degree & Marksheets: Required for PGT posts.
B.Ed. / D.El.Ed. Certificate: This is the backbone of your teaching eligibility.
CTET Paper 1 or 2 Certificate: Download the original from DigiLocker. KVS/NVS often ask for the DigiLocker verified copy.
3. Category & Reservation
Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC): Important! This must be in the Central Government Format, not just the State format. For OBC, ensure it is a Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate issued in the current financial year.
EWS Certificate: Must be valid for the current year as per central norms.
PH/PwD Certificate: If applicable, issued by a competent medical authority.
4. Professional & Experience Docs
No Objection Certificate (NOC): If you are already working in a Govt/Private school or any other department, you MUST have an NOC from your current employer.
Experience Certificates: If you claimed extra marks or eligibility based on teaching experience.
5. The "Final Touch" Documents
KVS/NVS Application Form: Take a printout of the original form you filled out in 2025.
Tier 1 Admit Card: Keep the one you took to the exam hall (preferably with the invigilator's sign).
Passport Size Photos: Keep at least 10–15 recent photos (same as the one on your application).
Character Certificates: Usually, two certificates from Gazetted Officers are required at the time of joining.
🔻Common Mistakes to Avoid (Pro Tips)
The Name Game: If there is a minor spelling difference in your father's name or your name across documents, get an Affidavit made from a local notary now. Don't wait for the interview day.
Self-Attestation: Keep 3 complete sets of photocopies of all the above documents. You will likely have to sign each page ("Self-Attested") during the process.
The "DigiLocker" Trap: For CTET, don't just take a screenshot. Download the proper PDF from DigiLocker which has the QR code.
Validity Check: Check if your OBC-NCL or EWS certificate is "Current." If it's old, apply for a new one immediately.
What should you do today?
Don't just keep these on your phone. Buy a good quality "Document Expandable Folder" and arrange them chronologically (10th, 12th, Graduation, etc.). It looks professional and saves you from panicking in front of the interview panel!
