NB: Posts are under flagship rural programmes and are contractual in nature.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: 18 to 40 years (age relaxation as per govt rules).

Educational Qualification: 

◽Accredited Engineer:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering

• Diploma in Computer Application.

• Good knowledge of mobile apps/computer usage

◽Other Posts (GRS, CA, GPC):

• Graduate in any discipline (50% marks)*

• Diploma in Computer Application (min 6 months)

• Good knowledge of mobile apps/computer usage

NB: Distance education degrees recognised by DEC/UGC/AICTE are valid. 

Age Relaxation: 
• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC: 3 years
• PwBD/ UR: 10 years
 
Citizenship: Candidate must be a citizen of India as defined under Article 5 to 9 of the Constitution of India.
 
Application Fee:  There is No application fee for applying above mentioned contractual posts.

📝 Selection Process – PNRD Assam Recruitment 2026

The selection of candidates will be done through a Written Examination followed by a Viva-Voce (Interview).
Candidates whose applications are accepted will have to appear in a written examination at selected centres across Assam. The details of the examination centre will be mentioned in the Admit Card / Admission Certificate, issued by the Commissioner, Panchayat & Rural Development (P&RD), Assam.

📚 Written Examination Details
There will be two separate written exams:
🔹 Paper-1
For the posts of:
•Gaon Panchayat Coordinator (GPC)
•Computer Assistant (CA)
•Gram Rozgar Sahayak (GRS)
👉 Candidates must give their post preference (GPC / CA / GRS) while applying under Paper-1.
🔹 Paper-2
For the post of: Accredited Engineer (AE)
✔ A candidate can apply for both Paper-1 and Paper-2 separately, if he/she fulfills the eligibility criteria for both.

📍 Exam Centre
The examination centre will be allotted based on the candidate’s permanent address, as decided by the exam conducting authority.

Total Marks: 75 Marks
Total Questions: 75 Questions
Marks per Question: 1 Mark each
Mode: OMR Based
Duration: 2 Hours
Pen to Use: Black Ball Pen only

Negative Marking:
Negative marking will be applicable as follows:
0.25 mark deducted for each wrong answer (for 1-mark questions)
0.5 mark deducted for each wrong answer (for 2-mark questions, if any)
Negative marks will also apply if more than one option is selected for a question.

📖 Syllabus:
The written examination will consist of five sections:
•Domain Knowledge
•Computer Proficiency
•Logical Reasoning, Aptitude & Comprehension
•History & Culture of Assam and India
•General Knowledge
👉 For the Accredited Engineer (AE) post, additional questions related to technical knowledge (as per qualification) will be included.

🎤 Viva-Voce (Interview):
Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for a Viva-Voce of 25 Marks.

3. Educational Qualification Certificate:
