Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) released the UP Home Guard Answer Key 2026 on 07 May 2026. This recruitment exam was held on 25, 26, and 27 April 2026 for 41,424 posts. Exam Pattern and Score Calculation

The UP Home Guard Exam 2026 includes questions from the General Knowledge subject. There are a total of 100 questions for a total of 100 marks. For each correct answer, 1 mark is awarded. What Happens After the Objection Window Closes

1. Expert Committee Review: All objections filed by candidates will be forwarded to a subject matter expert committee. This committee will analyze each objection along with the supporting references provided.

2. Final Answer Key Preparation:If an objection is found valid, the answer key will be updated. If a question is found ambiguous or incorrect, it may be dropped from evaluation. If an objection is found invalid, the original answer is retained.

3. Release of Final Answer Key:After reviewing all valid objections, the board revises the answer key wherever necessary and publishes the final answer key, which becomes binding for result preparation.

Selection Process After Written Exam

The selection process includes Written Exam, PET & PST Test, Document Verification, and Medical Examination.

Physical Standard Test (PST) Qualifying Only

In the PST test the measurements of height and chest will be taken for male candidates, while height and weight will be measured for female candidates. PST is qualifying in nature no marks are awarded.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) Qualifying Only

Male candidates must complete a 4.8 km run in 28 minutes. Female candidates must complete a 2.4 km run in 16 minutes. The PET will be of a qualifying nature; no marks will be awarded for it.

Document Verification and Medical Examination

Candidates who qualify in all stages will undergo a medical examination to ensure physical and mental fitness, followed by police verification before final enrollment.

Bonus Marks and Merit List
