➥Age Limit

The age limit for most posts is 18 to 27 years.

👉 Constable (Gardener,Gardener, Water Carrier, Cobbler, Tailor, Washerman, Barber, Waiter): 18 to 23 years

Constable (Carpenter): 18 to 25 years

The minimum qualification is 10th pass, but eligibility differs by

Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in treatment of animals in a recognized veterinary hospital
⬥Constable (Driver – Male Only): 10th pass from a recognized board

Experience / Requirement: Must possess a valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License

⬥Constable (Gardener, Water Carrier, Cobbler, Tailor, Washerman, Barber, Waiter): Matriculation (10th pass) from a recognized board

Experience / Skill Requirement:
 2 years work experience in respective trade OR 1 year certificate course from ITI/Vocational institute + 1 year experience OR 2 years Diploma in the respective trade
Additional Requirement: Must qualify trade test

⬥Constable (Carpenter): Matriculation (10th pass) from a recognized board

Experience / Skill Requirement:
 2 years work experience in respective trade OR 1 year certificate course (ITI/Vocational) + 1 year experience OR 2 years Diploma in the trade
Additional Requirement: Must qualify trade test

⬥Constable (Nursing Orderly): 10th pass from a recognized board

Experience / Requirement: First Aid Certificate from St. John Ambulance / Red Cross Society
Minimum 1 year experience as Nursing Orderly in a 50+ bedded hospital

⌬SELECTION PROCESS 

➥Stage 1: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Standard Test (PST)

Physical Efficiency Test (PET): This stage tests the physical fitness and endurance of candidates.
For Male Candidates:
Run: 4.8 km in 24 minutes
For Female Candidates:
Run: 2.4 km in 18 minutes
👉 This is a qualifying test only (marks are not counted in merit).
👉 Ex-Servicemen are exempted from PET, but must appear for other stages.
Physical Standard Test (PST): Candidates who qualify PET will undergo PST.

Selected candidates will be placed in Pay Level-3, with salary ranging from ₹21,700 to ₹69,100.
The in-hand salary usually comes around ₹25,000 to ₹35,000 depending on posting location and allowances. In addition to basic pay, candidates receive Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, medical benefits, and pension benefits.
