Re-evaluation and Rechecking - How to Apply

Students who are not satisfied with their marks in the Assam HS Result 2026 can apply for re-evaluation or rechecking within 15 days of the result declaration.  This means the window closes around mid-May 2026.

Compartment Examination - For Students Who Did Not Pass

Students who failed the Assam HS Exam will get a second chance through the Assam HS Compartment Exams, tentatively scheduled for June 2026. Results for the compartment exam are expected in July 2026.

You can appear for the compartment exam in a maximum of two subjects.  Practical marks already secured carry forward without re-examination. The application is submitted through your school, and the fee and schedule will be notified by ASSEB on ahsec.assam.gov.in within days of the main result.

Marksheet and Certificate Collection

The result accessed on April 28 through any official portal is a provisional digital scorecard. Along with their marksheets, candidates must also collect other documents such as a Transfer Certificate, Migration Certificate, and Character Certificate from the administrative department of their school. 

For students applying to colleges outside Assam, the Migration Certificate is mandatory and should be requested from your school immediately after the result. Processing time varies by school and can take one to two weeks.

The date for providing of hard copy of Certificate cum Marks-sheet for the passed candidates shall be notified in due course of time.
