Educational Qualification

To apply for the Review Officer (RO), Assistant Review Officer (ARO), or Computer Assistant (CA) posts, candidates must meet all of the following educational requirements:

A Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university established by law in India, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government.

In addition, candidates must possess any one of the following computer qualifications:

Diploma or Degree in Computer Science from a recognized institution or university.

OR

'O' Level Certificate awarded by NIELIT (formerly DOEACC).

OR

'CCC' (Course on Computer Concepts) Certificate from a recognized institute.

Candidates should also have knowledge of data entry, word processing, and computer operations.

A minimum English typing speed of 25 words per minute (WPM) on a computer is mandatory.

Age Relaxation

Candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, and Dependents of Freedom Fighter (DFF) categories of Uttar Pradesh are eligible for an upper age relaxation of 5 years. Skilled sportspersons of Uttar Pradesh are eligible for an upper age relaxation of 5 years. Ex-Servicemen of Uttar Pradesh are eligible for an age relaxation of 3 years after deducting the period of military service.

Persons with Disabilities (PwD) of Uttar Pradesh are eligible for an upper age relaxation of 15 years.

Note: If a candidate is eligible for age relaxation under more than one category, only the relaxation that gives the maximum benefit will be allowed.

Salary Details

The salary for each post is based on the Pay Matrix of the Government of Uttar Pradesh.

The starting basic pay depends on the post selected by the candidate.

In addition to the basic pay, employees will receive Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Travel Allowance (TA), Medical benefits, Leave benefits, and other allowances as per Uttar Pradesh Government rules.

The total monthly salary will be higher than the basic pay after adding the applicable allowances.

Candidates who qualify in the Preliminary Examination will be called for the Main Examination and the Computer Knowledge Test. Both tests will be held on the same day with a gap of 20 minutes between them.
