About UPSSSC Lekhpal Mains Exam 2025

The Lekhpal Mains is the second and final stage of the UPSSSC Lekhpal recruitment under Advertisement No. 02-Exam/2025. Only candidates who cleared the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) and the Lekhpal Pre-exam are eligible to appear.

Selected candidates will be appointed under the Revenue Council, Uttar Pradesh (राजस्व परिषद) to fill vacant Lekhpal posts across the state. The Mains is the deciding stage — final merit will be prepared based on Mains marks plus document verification.

So this exam matters. A lot.

Fee Payment Mandatory - Important Note

This is critical — only those candidates who have paid the prescribed Mains exam fee will be able to download their admit card. If you skipped the fee payment, the link won't work for you. No fee = no admit card = no entry.

Exam Centers - 44 Districts of UP

The exam will be held across 44 districts of Uttar Pradesh. Your exact center is mentioned on your admit card. UPSSSC had issued the district-wise advance notice on 11 May 2026 itself.

Important: Center allocation is final. No change requests will be entertained at this stage. If your center is in a different district, plan your travel and stay today itself — hotels near exam centers fill up fast 2-3 days before the exam.

Common Problems & Real Fixes

Server slow / website not opening

 Try between 6 AM – 8 AM or post 11 PM. Peak load is usually 10 AM – 5 PM.

 Login failing repeatedly

 Double-check your registration number format. Use the same DOB you filled during application  not a corrected one.

 Admit card link not visible

Confirm your fee payment status first. Unpaid candidates won't see the link at all.

PDF not downloading on mobile

 Switch to desktop mode in your browser, or use the UPSSSC mobile app.

 Photo/signature unclear on admit card

 Re-download once — sometimes it's a print rendering issue. If still blurry, carry 2 extra passport photos to the center.

Exam Day Checklist

Bring these — without exception:

5-Day Final Preparation Strategy

Since you have 5 days left, use them wisely:

• Day 1-2: Revise General Hindi grammar (Sandhi, Samaas, Alankar) + Rural Development chapters
• Day 3: Solve 2 full-length mock tests in exam-day timing (10 AM – 12 PM) to set body clock
• Day 4: Revise current affairs (last 6 months) + UP-specific GK
• Day 5 (Eve of Exam): No new topic. Only quick revision notes + sleep by 10 PM

Don't pull all-nighters now. A fresh brain on exam morning beats 4 hours of last-minute cramming.

And please  visit your exam center location on Google Maps today, not on exam morning. UP has 44 centers spread across districts. Some are in interior areas with poor connectivity.

FAQs

Q1: Can I download the admit card without paying the Mains exam fee? No. As per the official notice, fee payment is mandatory before download access is given.

Q2: I lost my registration number. What now? Use the "Forgot Registration Number" option on the UPSSSC portal, or check the email/SMS you received during the Pre-exam application.

Q3: Is a black & white printout acceptable? Yes, but make sure your photo and signature are clearly visible. Color print is safer.

Q4: What time should I reach the exam center? Reach by 9:00 AM. Exam starts at 10:00 AM, and late entry is generally not allowed.
